The information collected by KWH Pool and Spa is voluntarily provided by users of our services or purchasers of our products.  This voluntarily provided information is provided via email, our website, our online store, our computerized water analysis system or other direct contact with consumers of our products and services.  We do not and will not sell or rent this information to others.

We will use your information to respond to your requests, to provide water analysis and follow up, and to ship or deliver orders.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials or savings available on the brands we sell, new products or services, or offer survey participation or contests.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information.  When you submit sensitive information to us your information is protected both offline and online.

Whenever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), the information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way.  If you are required (because of the service or product we provide) or have asked us to store your credit card information on file it is done utilizing PCI compliant processing via a third-party payment system.  We also protect your information offline.  PII is used to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) and is stored in a secure environment.

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use regular Malware scanning.

Orders

Information is requested and required to process orders.  You must provide name and shipping/delivery address along with payment/financial information.  If you have asked us to provide on-site water testing with delivery of necessary products at the time of service your payment information must be stored in our secure system in order for payment to be collected at time of service.  

Sharing

We share aggregated demographic information with our product partners.  This is not linked to any financial information, demographics only.  This shared information is used to provide services from our product partner, for example water testing, coupons, and product information.

When we use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill for goods and services these companies do not retain, share, store or use PII for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

When we partner with another party to provide a specific service we will only share information necessary for the third party to provide a specific service.  Third party providers are not permitted to use PII except for the purpose of providing the specific service.

We use third-party email marketing services.  You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email.

From time-to-time we request information via surveys or contests.  Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information.  Information requested may include contact information and demographic information.  Information is used to notify winners and award prizes or used for purposes of monitoring or improving our services and expanding our product lines.
